I did three school plays and 5 acting classes. Will a talent agent want to see me when I send them my resume and headshot?
ANSWER:
Maybe. There’s no way to tell. If you have a professional looking picture and resume already, it doesn’t hurt to do a mailing to acting agents once in a while. Include a brief cover letter describing your latest success with acting.
Do the mailing and then forget about it. Concentrate on getting more acting training and experience. Look for professional auditions and next time you’re in something, send a flyer or postcard to invite the same agents to come see you perform.
