This new york film acting school focuses on teaching the art and craft of screen acting as its own artform so actors can excel in front of the camera.

The NY acting classes offered here draw from a wide range of acting techniques and experiences.

What makes this screen acting school unique is its goal to empower actors by giving them the tools to make their own films instead of waiting around for auditions and acting jobs.

The Stonestreet Screen Acting Workshop (SSAW) is for experienced actors and advanced NYU drama students.

The program accepts applicants from all backgrounds during the summer. Their is also a special program for professionals.

Performance Opportunities:

This screen acting school helps students make their own movies through contacts and resources. Students have produced and acted in feature films, TV pilots, an internet drama serie and tons of short films featured at major film festivals.

This NYC acting school casts its students every year in short films produced by the school and written by NYU students.

Career Preparation: Stonestreet provides an Industry Showcase class where students perform in front of agents and casting directors from large and small agencies.

Degree: Each workshop can be taken professionally or for 8 point of college credit.

Financial Aid: Not yet available at this time, but early payment in full earns a discount.

What Students Need to Apply: Interview and/or audition.
