I cannot afford taking private classes to learn standard American accent.What is the best book with audio cd`s to learn a standard American accent for those who English is a second language?

A very good book is Speak With Distinction (Textbook and CD)
. Several acting schools use it. Keep in mind, though, that even if you have a great book to work with, it’s not the same as having a coach listen to you and correct you.
