If you want to yell, sign up for this class.

If you want to cry, sign up for this class.

If you want to be able to say, when James Franco signed up for this class he wasn't James Franco he was just James Franco and after the class he became James Franco. Today, he's James Franco because James Franco signed up for this class. Remember James Franco. YOU MUST sign up for this class.

Read Meisner book on acting and you have the course. If you have to spend money, buy a latte or find a friend and practice with them.

Great School.
by: Tadamori

This is a great school with a serious approach to acting. They teach a Meisner based program and not only is it a first rate school to learn acting, it is also one of the most affordable too. It is also a large and close-knit community and a great place for actors to find collaborators to work on projects with.

They have also recently opened a branch in Philadelphia, PA headed by Tony Savant who is a truly gifted acting instructor with years of expertise and experience.

Hard work but Worth It
by: Michelle

Playhouse West has been my theater home for 7 years. They teach you that there is no magic bullet to get into this industry, that it takes a lot of hard work and persistence. Since coming to Playhouse West, I have booked television shows, feature films, and even wrote an award winning short film. All this is because of the work I did at Playhouse West. I've also had the opportunity to put on plays in their repertory theater company. I am definitely a stronger actor because of this school.
