Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio (EMAS)

EMAS is a Los Angeles acting school offering a 2 year Professional Actor Training Program based in the Meisner Technique.

12-week Beginning Actor Workshops are available as well.

Acting Training is supplemented with classes in Voice, On-Camera, Audition Technique, Business of Acting, and Advanced Scene Study.

Performance Opportunities: EMAS is affiliated with the performance laboratory 3 Feathers Theater Company that produces stage plays throughout the year. Roles are cast from Alumni of the professional training program as well as members of the Advanced Scene Study class.

Career Preparation: The two year professional program offers audition training, headshot and resume preparation as well as other industry oriented information.

Degree: Certificate program.

Tuition Fee: $290/month plus for twice a week program.

What Students Need to Apply: Students must either take a 12-week beginning acting class or go through a personal interview to be considered for the 2-year professional program. For advanced scene study an audition is required. 1 monologue under 2 minutes in length.
